Order book containing standing, general, and regimental orders (1751 October 18-1753 November 11) issued by George Sackville and others to the 26th Regiment while stationed in Dublin, Ireland, and commanded by Lt. Gen. [Robert?] Anstruther; together with general and regimental orders (1763 September 22-1771 November 10) issued by Lord Barrington, Richard Maitland, Thomas Moncrieff, and others to British regiments in North America from headquarters in New York. Also includes various rules, motions of exercises, firing directions, reports of courts-martial, and miscellaneous pieces of verse.
